Please Read this from the 2nd Paragraph. There are some very good quotes in there.

For example:

"Often it is out hatred of certain characters...that keep us riveted to the screen."


"It is surprising to what extent darker emotions like anger, hatred, and revenge provide the cement that holds our attention on the popular movies we consume."


These would be very useful when discussing certain characters from both AHX and CRASH (2005).
